Job Evidence Desk (brand: Job Search Lab) is currently an invite-only beta. This notice explains what we collect, how we use it, who processes it, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it.
Key points
- What we collect: your phone number (to sign in), the résumé and job descriptions you add, the job-search conditions you fill in, and the confirmations and choices you make on the site.
- What it's for: only to break down your experience, compare it with jobs, suggest rewrites, and generate your résumé file. Never for advertising, and never sold to anyone.
- AI processing: your résumé and job descriptions are sent to AI models. Before sending, we replace your name, phone number, email and ID number with placeholders. We require AI providers not to keep your data or use it for training.
- Where it's stored: our servers are in Singapore.
- How long: until you delete it. You can delete all your data at any time under "My data". Deletion can't be undone.

Please don't put your ID number, bank card number, health information or other sensitive details in your résumé. We automatically replace ID numbers before anything is sent to AI, but we can't guarantee we'll catch every sensitive detail.
2. How AI processes your materials
- Before résumé or job text is sent to AI, we replace names, phone numbers, emails and ID numbers with placeholders.
- We call AI models through OpenRouter, with zero data retention turned on and "allow training on data" turned off.
- AI only makes suggestions. Job results (Strong match / Revise / Fail) are calculated by fixed rules, not by AI. Every rewrite AI writes is checked first so nothing is invented or exaggerated. Rewrites you don't accept never go into your downloaded résumé.
- We don't keep the prompts sent to AI or the raw AI responses. When an AI task finishes, its input is cleared immediately, and its result is deleted within 24 hours after you've retrieved it. What you confirm and accept is saved in your own evidence pack.

We don't use advertising, analytics tools or tracking cookies. The site doesn't load any third-party scripts or fonts.
4. Where it's stored and for how long

Your browser stores your sign-in status (no codes or passwords) and your language setting. Your sign-in status is cleared when you sign out or delete your data.
5. What you can do
- View and edit: your materials, facts and rewrites are all in the workspace, and you can view or edit them at any time.
- Delete: under "My data", choose "Delete all my data". Once you confirm, your account and all related records are deleted immediately. This can't be undone.
- Withdraw consent: during the beta, withdrawing consent means deleting all your data. After that we no longer process your information. You can still sign up again later with the same phone number.
- Other requests or questions: email hello@jobevidencedesk.com and we'll reply as soon as we can.
6. Security
- The whole site uses HTTPS.
- Each person's data is isolated in the database; no one else can see yours.
- The database admin keys live only on our server; your browser never gets them.
- Server logs record only length, duration, cost and error codes — never résumé text, job descriptions or AI output.
7. Age
This service is for job seekers aged 18 or over.
8. Changes to this notice
If anything important changes, we'll update the version number and ask you to agree again the next time you use the service.
